Damn! That hurt like hell.
After a few laps on the track, I got to my usual routine of stretching. During said stretching, I glanced down and noticed some guy putting up a net for "wallyball." I thought that could be fun. Headed down and asked the guy if they needed another. Needless to say, I hit the court. It was different, but good fun. I do miss playing.
After one hour of play, we started our 3rd or 4th game. Shortly into the game, I went up for a block. Coming down, I landed on someone's foot and rolled my right ankle...hard. I layed there for a moment in extruciating pain. I felt like I was going to puke. Yeah, it was that painful. I've never felt that much pain rolling an ankle. It was bad. I limped off and told the guys I was done. Sat down and iced up the ankle. Picked up the koddies and left soon after. Ibuprofen, where are you?
It's now two days later. Still sore but no limp. Hoping to get back to Bally's in the morning, but will be staying clear of the court. Perhaps I'll start getting back om the saddle.
