On Foot

Round Eighteen

Was a little surprised at how well I was feeling.  Been a few weeks since I've done any running.  Perhaps it was the decent weather.  Or maybe I knew I was working at 31's.  Or the fact that I was having my blood drawn shortly after my run and had to get to 8th and Hayes before 0800.  Yeah, I was cutting it close.  Walked into the firehouse at 0755.

Round Nineteen

Night before, took Gabi for a stroll that lasted a little longer than I was expecting.  But as noted in previous post, change.  And no I'm not trying to steal that line from Obama.  But felt a little rough, some tightness, like the feeling of a chest cold during the run.  Felt worse almost three years ago in the academy so I wasn't going to let it stop me.  Did a little more work on the feet on the track at Pulaski.
